Firefighters quickly contained a structure fire at Spend-A-Day Marina, 9481 State Route 708 North, Russells Point, Wednesday evening around 6:20.
The fire was reported by a passerby.
Flames were shooting from the showroom roof when authorities responded.
Indian Joint Fire Chief Mark Gibson said a heating and cooling unit on the roof caused the fire.
No one was at the business when the fire started.
Chief Gibson said there was minimal water and smoke damage inside. None of the boats were damaged.
The Lakeview Fire Department, Indian Lake EMS, Russells Point Police, and Washington Township Police assisted at the scene.
Fire crews were on scene for nearly three hours.
No one was injured.
Gibson is still compiling a damage estimate.
