A local driver was arrested following an alcohol-related accident on County Road 10 just west of Township Road 179 Thursday afternoon around 1:30.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Cynthia Duncan (pictured), 43, of 260 North Main Street, Lakeview, was driving a '97 Ford F150 eastbound on 10 when she failed to negotiate a curve, then went off the right side of the road, overcorrected and went off the left side of the road and struck trash cans and a fence.
Duncan suffered minor injuries. She was treated at the scene by Tri-Valley EMS.
She was charged with OVI, failure to control, and no seat belt.
Duncan, who has a prior OVI, was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
The pickup suffered moderate damage.
