A rural Bellefontaine man suffered minor injuries in a medical-related one-vehicle crash on Route 33 about four-tenths of a mile west of County Road 10 Monday afternoon around 4:30.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Joseph Hershberger, 47, of 114 Township Road 37 West, was driving a 2002 Chrysler Voyager westbound on 33 when he lost control, went through the median, then across the eastbound lanes of 33 and into a creek bed.
Hershberger, who was trapped in the minivan, was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Tri-Valley EMS.
The accident remains under investigation.
Hershberger's vehicle suffered heavy damage.
The Tri-Valley Fire Department assisted at the scene.
