A rural Bellefontaine homeowner caught two local men inside
his home Friday afternoon around one o'clock.
Larry Robinaugh, 70, of 1416 County Road 1, came home and confronted Jason Overholt (pictured left), 34, at large, in the living room.
Robinaugh held the suspect at gunpoint and called 911 to report the burglary.
A nearby deputy from the Logan County Sheriff's Office responded and took Overholt into custody.
During the arrest, Robinaugh went upstairs and found Matthew Cheadle (pictured right), 31, at large.
He held Cheadle at gunpoint. Moments later, the deputy handcuffed Cheadle.
Both suspects were wearing masks, hooded jackets, and gloves.
They entered the home with a prybar.
Overholt and Cheadle were charged with felony counts of aggravated burglary and possession of criminal tools.
Nothing was taken from Robinaugh's residence.
Authorities believe the suspects entered the home from Lake Avenue.
A Bellefontaine Police Department K-9 helped track the burglars' path.
Overholt and Cheadle were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
