The Indian Lake Middle School Future City Building Team took Rookie of the Year at a recent competition in Columbus.
The competition, which celebrated Engineering Week, hosted 24 teams from across the state. The team was also awarded 2nd place and honorable mention in the essay contest.
Team members include Caleb Taylor, Colin Powers, Ethan Cummins, A.J. Stringfellow, Laura Downey, Lindsay Berg, Emaleigh Wallace, Bryson Britt, and Kelly Shoffner.
Indian Lake is coached by Karyn Price, gifted intervention specialist from the Logan County Educational Service Center.
