The Indian Joint Fire District (pictured) quickly contained a garage fire in Russells Point near the intersection of Westview Street and North Street Wednesday night around 7:10.
Fire Chief Mark Gibson said the structure fire destroyed an outer wall on the unattached garage and damaged a few wood planks inside the building.
Gibson believes the garage can be repaired.
The fire started near the door, but the cause remains under investigation.
No one was injured.
A passerby saw flames and called 911.
Fire crews were on scene for nearly two hours.
