Bellefontaine High School's musical will be performed on Friday and Saturday, February 22 and 23 at 7:30 pm in the high school auditorium.
The show this year is called "The Music Man."
Harold Hill (played by Austin Blankemeyer, pictured left) is The Music Man. He arrives in River City, intending to cheat the community with his standard scam of offering to equip and train a boys marching band, then skip town with the money since he has no music skill anyways. Things go awry when he falls for a librarian (played by Katie Vetorino, pictured right). The Music Man must come up with a way to keep from exposing himself while winning over his new love.
The students have spent countless hours building sets and running lines. It is expected to be an excellent musical, as always.
BHS choir director Stacy Calton is putting on the production this year.
Tickets for the show cost $7 and go on sale February 12.
