A West Liberty woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident on US 68 near Levan's Body Shop Sunday morning around 10:30.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Misty Fullenkamp, 28, was driving a 2007 Dodge Caravan northbound on 68 when she tried to avoid a stopped northbound vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn into a church parking lot.
Fullenkamp went off the right side of the road, lost control, hit a utility pole, and nicked a tree.
Fullenkamp, who was wearing her seat belt, was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital for non-life threatening injuries by Macochee Joint Ambulance District.
A passenger riding with Fullenkamp was not injured.
The Caravan sustained left side damage.
Fullenkamp was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance.
