Two local school officials will serve on Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) committees.
Urbana City Schools and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center board member Warren Stevens will serve on the credentials committee, Federal Relations Network, and the Southwest Regional Executive Committee.
Bellefontaine City Schools and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center board member Anne Reames will serve on the arrangements and hospitality team and the Southwest Regional Executive Committee.
The credentials committee is charged with evaluating and reporting on the credentials of the members of the Delegate Assembly.
The Federal Relations Network is the National School Boards Association’s major grassroots lobbying force involved in federal issues.
The Southwest Regional Executive Committee provides governance and leadership to school board members in Logan, Champaign, Shelby, Adams, Brown, Butler, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Warren Counties.
Arrangements and hospitality team members assist the five regional managers at the Capital Conference and Trade Show, as well as at regional events. Committee members also serve as regional liaisons at the Region Resource Center at the Capital Conference.
