An area man that was arrested on multiple sex charges last summer pleaded before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark O'Connor Thursday.
Matthew Warnecke (pictured), 33, of 6333 Creps Road, Harrod, pleaded guilty to a first-degree misdemeanor count of voyeurism.
Warnecke will be classified a Tier I sex offender when he is sentenced on April 1st.
In August, he was indicted for illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material (F2) and voyeurism (F5).
Warnecke was arrested on July 7th after he allegedly was jumping up and down with his cell phone attempting to take pictures through the bathroom window of a residence on Orchard Island the previous night.
A neighbor alerted the homeowner. The resident and the suspect's wife confronted Warnecke and retrieved his phone. The wife found evidence that Warnecke had taped young girls showering in the home.
The Washington Township Police Department responded and found Warnecke at his dad's home near Huntsville. Warnecke was charged with voyeurism and pandering sexually oriented material involving a juvenile.
