An area driver was injured in a T-Bone crash near the Marysville Auto Plant at the intersection of State Route 739 and Johnson Road Thursday afternoon just before three o'clock.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Miriam Headings, 36, of Richwood, was driving a 2003 Honda car northbound on 739 when she struck a 2002 Volvo box truck operated by John Slemmons, 65, of Toledo.
Troopers report that Slemmons was eastbound on Johnson Road when he failed to yield from the stop sign and pulled into the path of the Honda.
Headings was transported to Union County Memorial Hospital by Allen Township EMS.
Slemmons, who was not injured, was cited for a stop sign violation.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
The Honda was heavily damaged and the box truck had moderate damage.
