An area woman was cited for a two-vehicle injury accident at the intersection of US 33 and State Route 274 Thursday evening around 5:30.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Peggy Dawson, 63, of Jackson Center, was driving a Pontiac Grand Am westbound on 274 and stopped at the intersection of 33. Dawson then pulled into the path of a westbound GMC Sierra on 33 operated by Matt Swygart, 41, of Rockford.
Dawson, who was wearing her seat belt, suffered minor injuries but was not transported.
Swygart, who was wearing his seat belt, was not injured.
The Grand Am sustained damage to the driver's door and the Sierra suffered front end damage.
Huntsville EMS assisted at the scene.
Dawson was cited for failure to yield.
