Two local drivers were injured in a head-on collision on County Road 10 just west of Township Road 179 Thursday morning around 4:30.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Nathan Salyer, 20, of 2700 Wiseman Road, Urbana, was driving a 2006 Saturn Ion westbound on 10 when he lost control on the snow-covered roadway, then went left of center and collided with an eastbound 2005 Ford pickup operated by Jack Stahler Jr., 52, of 401 Dodge Avenue, Bellefontaine.
Salyer and Stahler suffered minor injuries. Both of them were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Tri-Valley EMS.
Salyer was cited for failure to control.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
The pickup and the car suffered disabling damage.
The accident closed the intersection for about 90 minutes.
