The Bellefontaine High School Orchestra earned a Superior rating at the State Orchestra Contest in Kettering on Friday.
BHS has received superiors the last three years.
On Friday, Bellefontaine performed Prelude to Te Deum by Charpentier/McCashin Ruminations and O'Loughlin In a French Garden by Meyer.
Laura Mitchell is the BHS orchestra director.
The competition was sponsored by the Ohio Music Education Association.
