A local man was arrested for an alcohol-related crash in his neighbor's yard Saturday afternoon around 2:30.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Ted Ward (pictured), 49, of 314 Blue Street, DeGraff, drove his 1983 Chevy pickup through Pamela Bellamy's yard at 316 Blue Street and struck her fence.
Prior to the accident, Ward was reportedly playing loud music and revving the engine of his pickup. He did donuts in his backyard, then drove around his house and struck the neighbor's fence.
Ward, who refused sobriety tests, was charged with OVI and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Deputies said Ward was combative during the arrest and at the jail.
