There was an armed robbery at a St. Paris grocery store Monday night around ten o'clock.
The St. Paris Police Department responded to Howard's IGA, 311 West Main Street.
Officers report that a white male entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money.
The suspect, who's between 5'7" and 6'00", tied up both clerks in a back room and fled out the back entrance with an undisclosed amount of cash.
One clerk was able to free herself and call 911.
A St. Paris officer and several Champaign County deputies responded to the store at 10:22 p.m.
A Miami County K-9 unit assisted with the search.
The man remains at large.
