Area seniors were honored during the 37th annual Rotary Honors Banquet at Bellefontaine High School Monday.
The Rotary Club honored 134 students from Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Riverside, Triad, and West Liberty-Salem. Each student obtained a GPA higher than 3.5 during their high school careers.
Parents were also recognized when their child’s name was called.

The evening’s guest speaker was Debbie Ellis. Debbie is the Marysville Coordinator of 7-12 Gifted Services. Debbie encouraged students to see the value of education and to look at their education in the past, present, and future. During her presentation, she showed a short film about stats regarding the Internet, computers, and what the future could look like.
