Two local residents suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident (pictured) in DeGraff at the intersection of Miami Street and Mill Street Friday morning around 7:45.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Leon Day, 16, of Maplewood, was driving a pickup northbound on Mill Street when he stopped at the intersection, then pulled out and struck a pickup driven by Jamie Holycross, 33, of DeGraff.
Holycross and a passenger in Day's pickup, Zach Brandyberry, 16, of DeGraff, were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Riverside EMS.
Day was not injured. He was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
Both vehicles suffered heavy damage.
The DeGraff Fire Department assisted at the scene.
