A Kentucky man was arrested on a felony drug charge following a traffic stop on I-75 near Sidney Saturday afternoon around 4:15.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office reports that Eric Cato of Louisville was driving a southbound '99 GMC conversion van.

During the traffic stop, the deputy detected signs of criminal activity.

K9 Colt alerted authorities to the rear of the van.

Deputies found 5.4 pounds of vacuum packed high grade marijuana, 1,080 prescription pills, $1,200 in cash, four bottles of an illegal liquid, and other miscellaneous drug-making items.

Cato was charged with a felony count of drug trafficking. He was lodged in the Shelby County Jail.

The Sidney Police Department assisted deputies.
