A teen driver lost control and struck a house in Kenton Monday afternoon around 4:45.
The Findlay Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that an unnamed 17-year-old girl from Kenton was driving a 2000 Honda Civic westbound on Columbus Street (near Maple Street) when she lost control and went off the right side of the road. The vehicle then struck a tree, overturned, and hit the side of a house.
The driver was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by BKP EMS.
Her two passengers were injured.
Front seat passenger Ryan Engle, 19, of Kenton, refused treatment.
A rear passenger, a 16-year-old girl from Upper Sandusky, was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital by BKP EMS, then transferred to Toledo Children's Hospital.
Authorities did not release the girls' names because their juveniles. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The resident was not home, but a crew refinishing the floor of the house called the accident "scary".
The Kenton Police Department, Kenton Fire Department, and Hardin County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
Troopers continue their investigation.
