Ten Ohio Hi-Point Health Technology students advanced to the National Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) Leadership Conference after qualifying at the state level in March.
Blake Johnston (Indian Lake), Kiersten Daum (Bellefontaine), Carrissa Magnuson (West Liberty- Salem), and David Conner (Bellefontaine) earned a spot at Nationals as part of the HOSA Knowledge Bowl team.
The Biomedical Debate Team consisting of Cortni Taylor (West Liberty- Salem), Eleisea Woodford (Marysville), Rachel Reedy (Marysville), and Colton Wedge (Bellefontaine) also qualified for Nationals.
Samantha Shirk (Triad) will compete in Medical Reading and David Patterson (West Liberty- Salem) will represent Ohio Hi-Point in the Medical Law and Ethics competition.
The HOSA National Leadership Conference is set for June in Tennessee.
