Ohio Hi-Point Career Center students competed in the state FFA Nursery and Landscape Contest at Tolles Career and Technical Center in Plain City recently.
Hillary Rader (pictured left), a senior in the Professional Turf and Landscaping program, placed fifth out of more than 400 students. She is also the recipient of the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA) scholarship.
In the team event, Hi-Point finished eighth out of more than 40 teams.
The team consisted of Hillary Rader (Bellefontaine High School), Hayden Baker (Bellefontaine High School), Brittney Ussher-Gonzales (Urbana High School), and Aaron Osborn (Kenton High School).
