In 1986, President Ronald Reagan, citing the importance of math to the progress of our economy and society, created Mathematics Awareness Week. In the following years, Mathematics Awareness Week has grown to become Mathematics Awareness Month in April.
During Mathematics Awareness Month, Ohio Northern University sponsors High School Math Awareness Day. This year’s event was held on Tuesday.
