Earlier this week Honda recognized 53 suppliers in North America for their excellence in quality, value, and on-time delivery for helping the company achieve a record production year in 2012.

The annual conference, which was held in Indianapolis, included a network of 632 suppliers.
Nine of the award-winning plants are from Ohio.
The following are the local supplier award winners:
Rikenkaki America Corporation in Marysville was an award winner for excellence in delivery and quality.
Marion Industries in Marion was recognized for excellence in delivery and value.
F&P Manufacturing in Troy was honored for excellence in delivery and Industry Products Company in Piqua was an excellence in value recipient.
Belletech in Bellefontaine earned a prestigious Challenging Spirit Award. This honor recognizes the initiatives of suppliers to overcome extraordinary operational challenges, which was presented to just eight companies.
Moriroku Technology from Greenville earned the same award.
52 service parts supplier award winners were announced. 19 were from Ohio.
