Tires slashed in local neighborhood

A vandalism case in Urbana remains under investigation.

More than a dozen vehicles’ tires were slashed on North High Street between late Saturday and early Sunday.

Officers responded Sunday morning around 8:30. Sixteen vehicles had damage to at least one tire. The vehicles were parked between West Court Street and West Church Street.

If you saw anything suspicious, contact Urbana police at 652-4350.

Police have not released any suspect information.
