The Logan County Grand Jury indicted 15 people earlier this week, including two county men on multiple felony sex charges.
Jonathon Kramer (pictured), 22, of 11524 Leoline Drive, Lakeview, was indicted on three counts of rape (F1) and two counts of gross sexual imposition (F3).
On April 25th, Kramer was arrested on multiple felony sex charges following a brief investigation by the Logan County Sheriff's Office.
Kramer allegedly raped a 7-year-old Indian Lake area girl in March and April.
He was charged with rape and gross sexual imposition.
One of the girl's relatives contacted deputies in April.
Logan County Children's Services assisted with the investigation.
Charles Adkins, 44, of 9096 Township Road 71, DeGraff, was indicted on nine counts of pandering sexually oriented matter (F4) and five counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material (F5).
Kodi Smotherman (pictured), 21, of 106 North Main Street, West Mansfield, was indicted for aggravated robbery (F1) and assault on a police officer (F4).
On March 12th, Smotherman was walking in Bellefontaine near the intersection of North Hayes Street and North Avenue around 3:40 p.m. when an off-duty deputy saw him.
The deputy knew that Smotherman was wanted on warrants.
A foot pursuit ensued. The deputy caught up with Smotherman outside 501 North Hayes Street.
Smotherman attempted to take the deputy’s weapon from his holster while the deputy was attempting to take him into custody outside the residence. He also attempted to strike the deputy with his fists.
The deputy used pepper spray and attempted to deploy his Taser on Smotherman.
The Bellefontaine Police Department responded and helped the deputy handcuff Smotherman in a rear bedroom.
An officer found drug paraphernalia on the suspect.
Smotherman was arrested on the outstanding warrants and charged with aggravated robbery (for attempting to take the deputy's gun), assault, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He suffered injuries to his lip while struggling with the deputy.
Kandale Harrison, 37, of 7 Maple Road, Columbus, was indicted on single counts of complicity to possession drugs (F2), complicity to possession drugs (F3), complicity to possession drugs (F4), possession of drugs (F5), and cash forfeiture.
Gregory Abbott, 46, of 613 Bloomfield Avenue, Urbana, was indicted on single counts of complicity to possession drugs (F2), complicity to possession drugs (F3), complicity to possession drugs (F4), possession of drugs (F5), and cash forfeiture.
Jason Clevenger, 31, of 645 Township Road 33 South, Bellefontaine, was indicted on two counts of domestic violence (F3).
Daniel Matheson, 36, of 1310 Randon Road, Columbus, was indicted on two counts of burglary (F3).
Jason Brandon, 28, of 1018 Heritage Court, Bellefontaine, was indicted on two counts of trafficking in drugs (F4) and two counts of possession of drugs (F5).
James Allison, 25, of 221 South Collett Street, Lima, was indicted for possession of drugs (F5) and forfeiture.
Lance Brandyberry, 22, of 1666 Children Home Road, Urbana, was indicted for theft (F5) and misuse of credit cards (M1).
Jack Davis, 49, of 945 North College Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, was indicted for forgery (F5).
Miguel Medina, Jr., 32, of 208 West Chillicothe Avenue, Apt. #1, Bellefontaine, was indicted on four counts of nonsupport of dependents (F5).
Ronald Conkle, 43, of 1240 Carlisle Street, Bellefontaine, was indicted on four counts of nonsupport of dependents (F5).
Natalie Rhyan, 44, of 8822 Lake Avenue, Lakeview, was issued an amended vehicle forfeiture.
Josh Claybaugh, 27, of 601 West Columbus Avenue, Bellefontaine, was issued an amended indictment.
