Elderly drivers collide in DeGraff

Two elderly drivers were involved in a non-injury T-Bone crash in DeGraff at the intersection of State Route 508 and County Road 63 Thursday night around 7:20.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Don Engelhaupt, 82, of 213 Alvey Street, Quincy, was driving an '87 Ford Aerostar van northbound on 63 when he pulled from the stop sign and struck a westbound 2000 Chevy Cavalier operated by Martha Jackson, 96, of 329 Meadow Lane, DeGraff.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.

Engelhaupt was cited for failure to yield.

His van suffered minor damage and Jackson's car had moderate damage.
