Disoriented man arrested on felony drug charge

A local man who was found unconscious in his car was arrested on a felony drug charge Friday night around 10:30.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that William Boggs Jr. (pictured), 44, of 8591 County Road 44, North Lewisburg, parked in a driveway at 9466 Township Road 160, North Lewisburg.

About ten minutes later, the resident on 160 contacted deputies regarding a suspicious vehicle in their driveway.

Authorities report that Boggs was disoriented and his speech was lethargic.

Boggs then admitted to taking Xanax.

Deputies recovered 21 pills wrapped in a plastic baggie and two pipes.

Boggs was charged with felony possession of drugs.

Other charges are pending the result of a urine test.

Boggs was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
