The Benjamin Logan Board of Education conducted a special meeting Monday evening.
The board examined data in an effort to determine if the district should pursue a levy in November. The board has asked for more information to be brought to the July 15th meeting before it makes a decision.
The district heard a presentation about possibly sharing Treasurer Robert Kuehnle with Waynesfield-Goshen. Waynesfield-Goshen is in need of a treasurer and shared services could help save both districts money. The board is researching the possibility before it takes action.
The resignation of vocational agriculture instructor Kim Weiss was approved. Weiss accepted employment with another district.
Nick Baumer from Anna was hired to replace Weiss.
Superintendent Lori Lytle comments on the meeting.
The Benjamin Logan Board of Education will meet again in regular session on July 15th at 7 pm.
