One defendant was sentenced and one pleaded guilty before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark O'Connor earlier this week.
Kathleen Powell, 53, of Marysville, was sentenced to 60 days in the Logan County Jail, five years community control, a three-year driver’s license suspension, and ordered to pay court costs for OVI.
On February 1st, Powell crashed on County Road 10 near Township Road 180. The Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports that Powell appeared intoxicated when she knocked on a neighbor’s door asking for help.
On February 12th, Powell was indicted for OVI (F4). It’s her fourth OVI charge. She is facing a similar charge in Delaware County.
Brad Doseck, 33, of Bellefontaine, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing is scheduled for July 29th.
