A local teen wanted on a felony breaking and entering warrant in Champaign County was arrested on multiple drug charges at his residence Wednesday afternoon around four o’clock.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brice Lawson (pictured), 19, of 5126 County Road 168, West Liberty.
When deputies arrived, they heard someone running in the trailer.
The woman who answered the door told deputies that Lawson was trying to escape through a rear window.
Authorities responded to the rear of the home and took Lawson into custody.
During the arrest, deputies found a syringe and several drug abuse instruments on Lawson. Several other drug-related items were found in the trailer.
Lawson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug abuse instruments along with the breaking and entering warrant.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
