An area man passed away after being ejected from his vehicle on County Road 75 south of County Road 150 in Hardin County Tuesday Morning around 2:30.

The Findlay Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Damien Howard, 20, of McGuffey, was driving a 2000 Chevy Blazer northbound when he drifted off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, and lost control.

The vehicle rolled off the left side of County Road 75 and struck a utility pole.

Howard was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected.

He was pronounced dead by the Hardin County Coroner.

The accident remains under investigation.
