Two local drivers were injured in a T-Bone rollover crash in front of the former Siemens plant at the intersection of North Main Street and Lafayette Avenue Friday morning around 7:30.
The Bellefontaine Police Department reports that Christina Givens, 40, of 817 Euclid Street, Bellefontaine, was driving a 2000 Ford Escape northbound on Main Street when she attempted a left turn onto Lafayette in front of a southbound 2002 Pontiac operated by Christopher Orahood, 18, of 8380 County Road 39, Belle Center.
Givens' vehicle rolled onto the passenger's side. She was mechanically removed by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS then transported to Mary Rutan Hospital.
Givens was transferred to Grant Medical Center by Robinaugh EMS.
Orahood had a sore wrist from the airbag deploying. He was not transported.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
Both vehicles had disabling damage and were towed.
The accident closed the roadway for about 90 minutes.
Police continue their investigation.
