Crews from the Logan County Highway Department will be working on a couple projects early this coming week.
A culvert will be replaced on County Road 24 between TR 43 and SR 47 beginning on Monday.
The road will be closed between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm.
The work is scheduled to be completed the same day.
County Road 50 between CR 12 (south) and CR 12 (north) will close on Tuesday for tile replacement between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm.
The work will also require an overnight closure and is expected to be completed on Wednesday.
The Village of Russells Point, on October 1, will begin enforcing a parking resolution on Grand Avenue passed by the village council on July 6 with the intention of protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Russells Point. Prohibited parking in the specified area along Grand Avenue was enacted to allow for unobstructed travel for safety services and other motorists.
The area affected will be along Grand Avenue between the intersection of Fairview and Sunnyside Avenues to Morse Street.
“No Parking” signs have been erected on the east side of Grand Avenue.
If you have any concerns about this enforcement of no parking along designated areas of Grand Avenue, please attend any upcoming Council meeting. Council meetings are regularly scheduled on the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00pm.
The next meeting, rescheduled due to the Labor Day holiday, will be on Tuesday, September 3rd.
