A local driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed on County Road 10 west of Route 33 Tuesday afternoon around 4:25.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Donald Bailey Jr., 43, of 4994 Burton Road, North Lewisburg, was driving a 2011 GMC Sierra westbound on 10 when he drove off the right side of the road and struck two mailboxes about three-tenths of a mile west of 33.
Bailey, who was wearing his seat belt, was not injured.
He told deputies that he was tired after working a 14-hour shift the previous night.
Bailey was cited for failure to control.
His pickup had moderate damage.
