Indian Lake High School invites public to help with safe driving program

Indian Lake High School and the student organization SADD recently announced their participation in the Celebrate My Drive program.

The initiative is aimed towards celebrating the fun of receiving a driver’s license while helping people “drive safely so they arrive safely.”

By participating in the program, students and community members can help Indian Lake High School towards the chance of winning $100,000 and possibly a concert by Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson.

To get involved, log onto www.celebratemydrive.com, indicate you want to support Indian Lake High School, and commit to drive safely. The more commitments are made, the better the chance for the high school to win the contest.

Community members 14 and older are encouraged to commit once a day every day between October 18th and 26th to commit to drive safely.

“Indian Lake High School is committed to promoting life-long safe driving habits and we are excited to promote a program that will make our community safer,” says Indian Lake High School Principal Robert Underwood.

SADD encourages teenagers to make positive choices as they start driving.
