Geneva Andrews, 87, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Logan Acres Care Center.
She was born on November 20, 1926 in Isonville, Kentucky to the late Doc Roscoe and Bertie Faye (Sparks) Peters.
On April 4, 1950 she married John “Jack” Leroy Andrews in Jeffersonville, Indiana and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2004. She was also preceded in death by their son, Ronald Lee “Pee Wee” Andrews; and siblings, Floa Skaggs, Chloe Smith, Sarah Adkins, Viola Welch, Mary Cox, Carrie Peters, Faye Sousa, Herman, Murl, Burl, Eugene, Manuel and Wayne Peters.
Surviving are her brothers, Eulene (Billie Jean) Peters of Grove City, OH, and Gus (Joyce) Peters of Cape Coral, FL; nieces, Joella McNeill, Lucinda Brown and Loretta Mantilla and many other beloved nieces and nephews; and special friends, Phillip (Pam) Pulfer of Bellefontaine.
Geneva retired from Siemens and enjoyed shopping and walking and especially looked forward to her annual trips to visit her sisters-in-law, Minnie Adkins and Wanda Peters, both of Isonville, Kentucky.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery.
