M. Marie Young, 94, of Middleburg, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Logan Acres.
Marie was born in Ross County, Ohio on January 8, 1918 to the late Fred and Emma Myers Rinehart. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Carrie Neff and Marguerite Lee, a brother Russ Rinehart, and an infant brother John Rinehart.
Marie was a graduate of Bourneville High School and was baptized at the Middleburg Church of Christ. She spent many years farming and also worked at Harding Machine, East Liberty before working as an inspector at Ranco Controls in Plain City where she retired. Following retirement, she did volunteer work at Union County Memorial Hospital and enjoyed working in her yard and growing flowers.
Marie is survived by her children: Kenneth C. (Dennise Cochran) Young of Troy, Emma L. (William) Wampler of Bloomington, Indiana, and Vera L. (Gary) Kuaile of Bellefontaine; 6 grandchildren: Rachel and Steve of Troy, Bobbi and Jamie of Bellefontaine, Toni of Springfield and Ryan of Bellefontaine; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother Fred (Virginia) Rinehart, Jr. of Bainbridge, Ohio and a sister Carol Hardy of Frankfort, Ohio; sisters-in-law Ruth Parrett of Chillicothe and Lorna Wiley of Grove City, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 8, 2012 at Middleburg Cemetery at 10:00 am with Rev. Mike Sandlin officiating. Visitation will be held at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 4-8pm.
The family would like to thank the special people at Logan Acres who cared for their mother and grandmother.
