Rose Marie Kindle, 75, of Lakeview, OH, passed away Friday morning, June 22, 2012 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
Rose was born on May 20, 1937 in Toledo, OH, to the late Leon & Clara McGee Kennaw. On March 6, 1981, she married Elmer Kindle in DeGraff, OH. They spent a total of 38 years together before he died in 1994. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Angela Elizabeth, a sister, Betty Kennedy and a brother, Clifton Kennaw.
She is survived by six children, Candy Oglesbee of Santa Fe, OH, James “Jimbo” Coyer of Lakeview, Sue (Jim) Gibbs of Sidney, LeRoy (Theresa) Coyer of Russells Point, Johnny (Sue) Kindle of Dayton, and Katherine Zwiebel of Santa Fe, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sisters, Barbara Kennaw and Francis Longbrake and a brother, Jim Kennaw, all of Lakeview, many nieces, nephews and cousins, best friends, Jane Banning, Dortha “Doke” Kaiser, Pat Kindle, and her Euchre partners.
Rose was a retired school bus driver for Indian Lake Schools, where she drove for 27 years. She was a member of Indian Lake FOE Aeries #3615 Auxiliary of Lakeview. She was an outdoors enthusiast and loved wildlife and birds. Her favorite vacation spot was the cabin at Carp Lake, Mackinaw, MI, where she enjoyed spending time throughout the year.
Reverend Scott Anderson will conduct funeral services at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Burial is in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, OH.
Memorial contributions may be given in her name to the American Cancer Society.
