Sandra N. Gorgas Easterday

Sandra N. Gorgas Easterday, 77, of Huntsville, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 at her residence. She was born on January 28, 1935 in Marion County, OH to the late Frank Henry and Carrie Irene (Johnson) Noggle.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles R. Gorgas.

She is survived by her second husband, Robert E. Easterday, whom she married on September 18, 1981 in Delaware, OH. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Gina (Ralph) Gorgas Taylor Moseley of Prospect, OH, Jana Gorgas Foos of Richwood, OH and Jodi (Michael) Gorgas Petree of Redwood Falls, MN; 3 step-children, Jeffrey A. (Gloria) Easterday of Delaware, OH, Bruce E. (Elizabeth) Easterday of Attica, OH and Mark D. Easterday of Delaware, OH; a brother, Charles E. (Marilyn) Noggle of Upper Sandusky, OH; sister, Eleanor (Robert) Graves of Brooksville, FL; her grandchildren, Zachary (Stephanie) Taylor, Brookston Taylor, Stormy and Skyler Foos, Charli and Alix Miller, Bradley Easterday and Kim Johnson; great grandchildren, Braxton & Shelby Taylor; several nieces and nephews; and her #1 dog, Fergie.

Sandra was a receptionist for Dr. Edward Jenkins, Wilsons C.J. of Course, Delaware; The Little Clothing Shoppe, Delaware; Disbennett Real Estate, Delaware; Delaware Chamber of Commerce; Asst. To Dr. David R. Smith, Delaware, Dr. Ward & Gantt OBGYN, Dr. Lloyd Moore, Magnetic Springs; Baldauf Lumber, Delaware; Oak Haven Golf Course; and Noggle Insurance Agency, Delaware.

She was a member of the Delaware Board of Elections; former Brownie Scout Co-Leader, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #115, Lioness Club, Eastern Star all of Delaware. Also, a former Sunday school teacher, she was a member of the Indian Lake Community Church where she helped start the Outreach Program I.L.C.C. She was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, and Moose Lodge; and was an 18 Gallon Blood Donor.

Pastors John Ellington, Jim Ellington and Karen Blackburn will officiate a funeral service on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11:00AM at the Indian Lake Community Church, where visitation will be held Monday, August 13, 2012 from 5-8PM and one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at a later date.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Indian Lake Community Church, 120 S. Orchard Island Road, Russells Point, OH 43348.
