Arthur Richardson, 96, of West Liberty, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Green Hills Health Center.
Arthur was born April 24, 1916 in Middletown, Ohio. Arthur was the son of James and Maggie Richardson and retired from the New York Central/Penn Central/Consolidated Railroad Company. He was a member of the First Church of God (Findlay and West Liberty) and loved to golf, shuffleboard, play cards, watch the Cincinnati Reds, play the harmonica and spend time with family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Hobert and Albert; his sisters Stella, Slyvia, Bethel and Beulah; and his grandchildren Christa and Adam. Arthur leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years, Lucille (Miller) Richardson; daughters Donna (Michael) Toombs, Gwen (Chet) Ebner, and Robyn (Bruce) Barnett; grandchildren Shelley, Stacey, Heidi, and Amy; great-grandchildren Lauren, Abby, Allie, Claire, and Elly and other family and friends.
A funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday at Jennings Farley Funeral Home, West Liberty, Ohio. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service.
Funeral services will be held at Jennings Farley Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Toombs officiating. Burial will be in Anderson IN.
