Brian Allen Prall, 62, of Bellefontaine, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday morning September 22, 2012 at his home.
Brian was born in Bellefontaine on February 4, 1950 to Charles A. Prall and Phyllis A. Wallace. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam conflict. Brian married the former Erica Brown on October 10, 1975 in Bellefontaine. He attended the Zanesfield United Methodist Church and loved to fish, cut wood and hunt mushrooms. He worked for 28 years at Global Precision Parts as a screw-machine set-up/operator. Brian was an avid Ohio State, Cincinnati Bengals, and Reds fan who especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Brian is survived by his wife, Erica Prall, mother Phyllis A. Wallace, son Brad (Courtney) Prall, all of Bellefontaine, daughters Brianna (Jacob) Clem and Amy Kensler, both of Rushsylvania; 8 grandchildren Jake Pooler, Alyssa Pooler, Tyler Clem, Chase Prall, Brayden Clem, Chloe Prall, Abby Pooler and Brody Prall; 3 great-grandchildren; beloved aunt Louise Prall of West Liberty, brother Ed (Tammy) Prall of West Liberty, his twin sister Beth (David) Poland of West Liberty, sister Jana (Dennis) Wolever of Marysville; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Charles A. Prall and step-father Albert Wallace.
Funeral services will be held at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 1PM with Pastor Gene Phelps officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Equality Cemetery with military honors provided by the Logan County Honor Guard.
