Joan Ann Faust, 67, of Lakeview, passed away Sunday morning, October 14, 2012 at her home.
She was born on April 7, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Ellis A. & Elizabeth Wilson Stokes. On April 3, 1965, she married William B. Faust in Brentwood, PA, and he survives.
She is also survived by four daughters, Wendy (Tim) Spencer and Carrie (Nathan) Ragan, both of Hamilton, OH, Shari (Bob) Tenbrink, of Bright, IN, and Melissa (Nick) Petrocelli of Cincinnati, OH, seven grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, two brothers, Ellis Stokes of Pittsburgh, and Richard Stokes of Long Island, NY, and sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Ronald) Dornetta of Stow, OH.
Joan attended Brentwood High School in Pittsburgh. She retired from Butternut Bread in Fairfield, OH after 16 years. She was a member of the Indian Lake Eagles #3615 Auxiliary and Doyle R. Miller Amvet Post #39 Auxiliary, both of Lakeview. She enjoyed planting flowers, sitting on her porch, and riding the golf cart to the lake to feed the ducks. She loved her dog “Babycakes” and being with her family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview with visitation from 11-1. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
