Three OHC teams have advanced to the regional finals in high school football.
The Triad Cardinals defeated the Lehman Cavaliers at Wapakoneta Saturday night on WPKO.
The game was scoreless at the half. Neither team had 100 yards heading into the locker room.
After a roughing the kicker penalty kept a Lehman drive alive, the Cavaliers cashed in a few plays later when running back Greg Spearman delivered a 2-yard touchdown run with 4:12 remaining in the third quarter.
Triad responded with an 8-play, 85-yard drive to tie the game. The long drive was capped off by a 14-yard touchdown pass from Doug Lowe to Steven Feasel with :35 remaining in the third quarter.
The Cardinals Damian Boldman returned an interception 46 yards for the game-winning score with 9:33 remaining in the game.
Feasel was named the Steve Austin's Player of the Game. He finished with a touchdown, four sacks, and nine tackles. He had 7 catches for 76 yards.
Feasel has an astounding 23 sacks on the season.
Triad will face defending state champ Marion Local next Saturday night at seven o'clock on WPKO.
Many other area teams took the field Saturday.
Delphos St. John's clobbered Tiffin Calvert 42-10.
Coldwater routed Doylestown Chippewa 49-21.
North Union fell to West Jefferson 37-20.
Marion Local edged Covington 35-28.
