The Bellefontaine varsity girls basketball team defeated visiting Greenon 47-40 Wednesday night.
Bellefontaine had three in double figures. Kameren Haley led the way with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Kenzie Brunswick and Brenda Johnson added 12 points apiece. Jazmyn Haley finished with 7 points and 9 rebounds.
In the JV contest, the Lady Chiefs won 38-16.
Sophomore Riley Penhorwood dropped in 14 points.
The Lady Chiefs will return to action this Saturday at Kenton Ridge in a key league matchup. JV start is 6 p.m. with varsity following.
The Benjamin Logan varsity girls team lost at Tipp City 69-13.
The Red Devils jumped out to a 42-8 halftime lead.

Emily Mitchell was 4-for-6 from the three-point line for a game-high 17 points.
Beigh Wilson poured in 7 points and Zoe Price contributed 6 points.
Both teams are back on the court Monday night at Tecumseh with the 7th grade starting at 5:30.
The Benjamin Logan 8th grade girls handled Northwestern 62-11.
Nikki Current had a triple-double with 36 points, 11 steals, and 10 rebounds.
Mackenzie McManus scored 12 points, Stevie Plikerd recorded 6 points, 11 rebounds, 6 steals, and 7 assists, Lauryn LeVan had 6 points, and Maddie Jones added 2 points.
The 7th grade Lady Raiders fell to Northwestern 17-15.
Haley Wilson had 8 points. Pamela Kelly, Olivia Roose, and LeAnn Regula each added 2 points.

Grant Ward led the Raiders with 18 points, Curtis Gadson scored 8 points, and Daniel McPherson tossed in 6 points.
The Benjamin Logan 7th grade boys edged Northwestern 31-29.
Nolan Robson had 10 points. Garret Allen and Bryce Schmidt each added 5 points.
