Chieftains swim past competitors in New Carlisle

The Bellefontaine High School Chieftains swim team traveled to New Carlisle Friday night to compete in a five-team meet.

The girls won the meet with 123 points, while Northwestern finished 2nd having 64 points.

The boys team also finished first, racking up 95.5 points. Tecumseh claimed second place with 50 points.

First-place finishes for the Chiefs included the girls and boys medley relays, Isaiah Brady in 200 IM and 100 Fly, Emily Fulmer in 50 Free and 100 Fly, Josh Robbins in 50 Free, Jessica Miller in 100 Free, Molly Schulz in 100 Back, Emma Smith in 100 Breast, and the girls and boys 400 Free Relays.

The BHS swim team is back in action Tuesday in a home dual against Kenton.
