Updated: Lady Chiefs top Triad, Raiders fall to Knights (Audio & Video included)

The Bellefontaine varsity Lady Chiefs’ basketball team traveled to Triad Wednesday night and came away with a 60-53 win.

Jazmyn Haley led the Lady Chiefs with 25 points. Kameren Haley contributed 15 points and Kenzie Brunswick tallied 11.

For the Lady Cardinals, Nicole Simonelli scored 18, Jenna Ober had 14, and Abby Ehrenborg added 11.

Bellefontaine led after the 1st quarter 15-8 and would lead at halftime 32-27.

Bellefontaine improved to 8-9 and will travel to Tipp City Saturday.

Triad falls to 7-6 and will travel to Northeastern Thursday.

The Benjamin Logan varsity girls fell at Dayton Stebbins 50-31.

The Indians outscored the Raiders 19-3 in the first quarter.

Shelby Kramer led Benjamin Logan with 13 points.

The JV Raiders lost 23-19.

Dakota Derr scored 7 points.

Benjamin Logan (5-12) will visit Urbana Saturday night. The JV game will tip at 6:00.

The Indian Lake varsity girls fell to Kenton Ridge 92-42.

Tipp City steamrolled Urbana 81-32.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys lost to visiting Greenon 65-57.

The Raiders had three players in double figures. Grant Ricketts had 15, Dalton Greene scored 14, and Austin Ahle dropped in 13.

The Knights prevailed in the JV game 48-35. Joel Dixon led the Raiders with 19 points.

Benjamin Logan (5-9, 0-5) will visit Graham Friday night.
