Top-seeded Russia edged Jackson Center 45-41 at Piqua.
The Raiders never trailed, but the game was tied 41-41 after JC standout Gavin Wildermuth drained a three-pointer with 1:03 remaining to cap a 5-0 run.
Russia forward Gavin Hoying then hit a layup to give his team a two-point advantage.
JC called a timeout and went for the win. Wildermuth missed a three from the left wing with just under seven seconds remaining.
Hoying grabbed the defensive rebound and was fouled. He converted both free throws to seal the victory.
Hoying had 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Wildermuth paced the Tigers with 14 points and 7 rebounds.
Ethan Zorn and Brady Wildermuth each added 10.
Russia outrebounded Jackson Center 34-17.
The Raiders move to 21-4; the Tigers finish 16-8.
Upper Scioto Valley handled Ada 63-45 at Kenton.
Lane Hurley paced the Rams with 29 points.
Kenton edged Tiffin Columbian 48-45.
Marysville outscored Olentangy Liberty 68-64.
Fairborn beat Tecumseh 59-54.
Division II girls district title games:
Kenton Ridge ran past Cincinnati McNicholas 63-41.
Clinton Massie defeated Tipp City 60-30.
