Chiefs swing past Vandalia-Butler

The Bellefontaine varsity baseball team defeated host Vandalia-Butler 10-5 Friday night.

Reliever Matt Entsminger earned the win.

He went the final four innings and held the Aviators to one earned run.

Starter Tyler Jones gave up three runs in three innings of work.

Senior Drake Roebuck had two hits and three RBIs.

Jarrod Houchin recorded two hits.

Connor Burton drove in three runs.

The Chiefs outhit the hosts 10-7.

Each team committed three errors.

Bellefontaine is 2-0.

BHS is hosting Beavercreek for a doubleheader Saturday at noon.

The Chiefs open league play Monday vs. Dayton Stebbins.
