Eight members represented the Hammer Club at the Wrestle Against Autism Tournament held at Olentangy Orange High School in Columbus over the weekend.
Six Benjamin Logan wrestlers, two Bellefontaine wrestlers, and a Benjamin Logan coach competed.
In Division 3 (9-11 year-olds) - Tucker Newland (75 lbs.) went 2-2 and Devin Frilling (80 lbs.) went 2-2.
In Division 4 (12-14 year-olds) - Mason Plikerd won his class (160 lbs.), Cole Houser got 5th place (95 lbs.), and Dylan Plikerd finished 6th (103 lbs.).
In Division 5 (High School) - Mitch Current (152 lbs.) went 3-2 and Caleb Houser (145 lbs.) was 1-2.
In Division 6 (Master's Division) - Coach Ryan Whitlow (170 lbs.) finished 3rd.
The Hammer Club is an offseason wrestling program for students from Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, and West Liberty-Salem.
